  • Modified: Ages 5 and 6
  • 8U (Rookie): Ages 7 and 8
  • 10U (Minor): Ages 9 and 10

Eligibility for T-Ball and Modified Baseball:

T-Ball and Modified Baseball are community-run sports in Wallburg, Midway, Arcadia, and Welcome.

  • T-Ball: For athletes aged 3 to 5 years old.
  • Modified Baseball: For athletes aged 5 and up, according to Davidson County Babe Ruth League (DCBRL) standards. Please refer to the DCBRL chart for specific eligibility.

Considerations for Moving Up a Division:

  1. Birthdate: How far outside the cutoff is the child’s birthdate?
  2. Experience: Has the child played for two consecutive seasons in their current division?
  3. Skills and Maturity: Does the child have the skills, ability, and maturity to play in a higher division? Does the child stand out among peers in terms of maturity and playing ability?
  4. Need: Is there a need to move the child up despite not meeting the age requirement?

If these standards are met, the request is taken to DCBRL for approval.
